As a teaching volunteer you introduce innovative teaching methodologies, encourage critical thinking in the classroom, and integrate issues like health education and environmental awareness into English, math, science, and other subjects. Ghanaian pupil of all ages and backgrounds appreciates the opportunity to interact with fluent English speakers and volunteers are welcomed by local teachers. If you are fluent in English, or proficient in mathematics or any teaching skill's you can provide a concrete contribution to a community and have great fun in the process. You don't have to be a qualified or experienced teacher to join the program, and you are sure to receive a warm welcome from the schools we work with who are eager to have our volunteers.
