Volunteer Opportunity description

Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester is seeking volunteer tutors. Volunteer tutors work one-on-one to help an adult gain language proficiency. Only through attaining English language literacy in spoken and written word can adult learners become independent contributing members of our society. You could make a difference in an adult's life.

How to apply

Volunteers attend a free 18 hour training, with us, and are matched with an adult. Once matched, the tutor and student meet weekly for 2 hours. Continued training and support is provided in house.
