We are looking for volunteers to do a variety of English to Spanish and Spanish to English translation projects of various sizes.
Our musical theatre program in Costa Rica runs from June to mid-August. Every day at least one blog is generated from the staff, so there is, at minimum, seven blogs that need to be translated per week. Each entry is approximately three paragraphs long. We still have blogs from 2012 that we need translated. Also, we will need to have translators for the upcoming 2013 summer. For the 2013 blogs, we would want a relatively quick turnaround for each entry--about two days.
We also have many other translation projects that we would need help with. Those projects range from translating parts of our Spanish website to sending translated correspondence to translating video footage of interviews.
This volunteer position is unpaid and virtual so it offers candidates the opportunity to volunteer with a schedule of their choosing.
