Here's what the cause is all about!
Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is hosting an event called Take Steps Be Heard. Take Steps Seattle is our local area's largest fundraising event. We help participants raise funds and awareness for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis, and at Take Steps Walk at Magnuson Park in Seattle we celebrate the steps we have taken towards finding a cure. Our goal this year is to locally raise $200,000. This helps the community to come together and feel empowered in living with these chronic diseases. More than 80 cents of every dollar raised through this event goes directly to research and patient programs in the local community. We are striving to achieve better quality of life for patients and those who participate in their care
