Under the supervision of Gifting and Granting Committee, the corporate sponsorship officer is mainly responsible for building relationship with corperations who have a passion for financially supporting GLSEN, and staying in contact with them. Sometimes it results in gifts that provide money, services or other support. This person will create and execute strategies for existing supporters and new prospective cooperation doners, overseeing all stages of donor relationships including cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. The corporate sponsorship officer is also expected to attend fund raising events such as dinners, receptions, and other special social events.
