We are preparing for SAY's 12th annual Adopt-A-Family (AAF) program! Adopt-A-Family connects donors with low-income SAY clients during the holiday season. Volunteers will have the opportunity to get involved this season and make the holidays really special for less fortunate SAY families.
Reserve a Shift(s) Below:
AAF Setup -Volunteers needed to move tables, chairs, use painter's tape to designate areas, tape directions and signs up, and set up our snack area.
Wednesday, December 5th
1pm - 4pm
Donor Dropoffs -Volunteers will be lifting and carrying some heavy items (i.e. children's bikes). Volunteers will also 'sort and organize' bundles.
Friday, December 7th
9am - 1pm
12:45pm - 5pm
Case Worker Pickups - SAY San Diego is in URGENT need for volunteers for these shifts!
SAY San Diego case workers will be picking up the delivered gifts to give to the families that have been 'adopted'. We will need volunteers who can lift and carry gifts.

AAF 'store' - We will need 2 volunteers per shift to help assist Case Workers and staff the store.

Xtra Large Donor Dropoff Day - We will need volunteers to assist with unloading and sorting. Expect this shift to be very hectic.

AAF Breakdown Day - Volunteers will be needed to move tables, chairs, take down signs, pick up light trash (wrapping paper, etc.).
