Want to help with hands-on salt marsh restoration? Then come to a Dig Day! Volunteers will help dig small creeks to drain water trapped on the marsh surface to help restore the quality of the habitat and learn about the effects of sea level rise on salt marshes. Must be at least 16 years old, in good physical condition and able to lift, bend, and shovel. Dress for the weather in clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Save The Bay will provide the boots, shovels, gloves, and other tools for the work!
