Volunteer Opportunity description

Join us as we transform an 11-acre old field into a wildlife haven by planting 2000 bare-root shrubs and trees: bur oak, cherry, hazelnut, plum and chokeberry. Cedar Creek Conservation Area is a new crown jewel of the Anoka County Parks system featuring a broad array of native landscapes including wetlands and emergent marshes, woodlands, planted prairie, and over two miles of shoreline on the RumRiver and Cedar Creek.
