Volunteer Opportunity description

Youth Assisting Youth, a United Way member agency, is a non-profit charitable organization that provides mentoring and tutoring services for newcomer and at risk youth 6 - 15 years old. We need volunteers (especially guys) 16-29 years old, who are willing to help these youth.

Volunteers will provide guidance, support, homework help, coaching and leadership to youth on a one-to-one basis or in groups like after school programs or academic, recreational or artistic activities. Attend attractions, professional sports events, etc. together. FREE passes/tickets provided (Blue Jays, Raptors, Argonauts, etc.). Scholarships are available. Comprehensive training provided. Young professionals and post secondary students/grads preferred. Bilingual volunteers needed.
