Volunteer Opportunity description

On Monday, January 21, 2013, Vincentian Communities and Services will honor the memory of Dr. King and its long-term and personal care residents by hosting its Book of Life program—matching volunteers to the men and women whose own acts of kindness and service helped build our communities on MLK Day of Service. By leading discussions and capturing memories, accomplishments, responses and stories on notebooks and laptops, volunteers help to document life histories and defining moments that might otherwise be lost.

Book of Life volunteers (ages 15 or older) are needed at Marian Manor in Greentree and at Vincentian de Marillac in Stanton Heights from 2-4 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. and at Vincentian Home and Vincentian Regency from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:00 p.m. Individuals, students, families and groups are welcome!
