Volunteer Opportunity description

The National Language Service Corp (NLSC) is a one-of-a kind organization that offers citizens with language skills the chance to help communities and the government during times of crises, emergencies and non-emergencies; domestic or abroad. The NLSC has received an inquiry for a Duala interpreter and translator for an upcoming assignment with a government agency. There is no membership fee to join the organization and all members of the NLSC are volunteers but are paid a stipend for any hours worked. The is not a full-time position, but rather a short term assignment for an individual who meets the requirements below.

Please read the membership requirements below and apply as soon as possible if you meet the required qualifications and would like to be considered for this opportunity.

NLSC Membership requirements:

  • You must be a U.S. citizen
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • If you are a male, you must have registered for Selective Service
