Garden Helpers

Posted on: April 29, 2013

Posted by: The Friends of Lakewold

Description

Do you get excited when you see the first buds of spring? Do you sometimes stop to pull an unintended weed because you just have to pull it? Well, working in the gardens with our knowledgeable staff might be just right for you. Responsibilities vary from raking leaves to learning the art of selective pruning, planting up flats of annuals or helping to troubleshoot plant and pest problems. These are just a few of the tasks that the horticulture team tackles throughout the year. Shifts of 2-4 hours work well.
