Volunteer with majestic Giant Pandas in China.

Volunteers are welcome to assist in an exciting and rewarding program with Giant Pandas in China. Their survival is paramount and saving this amazing species is a race against time.

Volunteer Work and Contribution:

Volunteers are needed to assist in safeguarding the future of these most captivating animals. Volunteers will take part in a program which includes in-depth training on the care of pandas and guidelines for working with pandas. Volunteers will be assigned as an assistant to a trainer, who will be able to answer their questions and instruct them in the care of pandas. Some of the activities are:

• Prepare food for the pandas such as apples, panda bread, and carrots
• Chop and carry bamboo
• Clean panda enclosures
• Observe and do research with the pandas
• Assist in providing medical care of the pandas

What's included in this project:

• Accommodation: Shared hotel room for 2 - 3 volunteers
• Food: 3 meals a day
• Airport pickup: Included on arrival day for projects 2 weeks+ (there will be an 25 Euro extra fee for airport pickup for projects of a 1 week duration)
• Orientation kit: Full project details will be sent following registration
• Training: Pre-departure preparation and local orientation
• Support: Local staff and 24hr emergency support
