The Sonoma County Family YMCA seeks individuals to become part of the Y's Community Programs Committee.
The Community Programs Committee advises and lends support to the overall planning and development of the Y's Community Programs, which include childcare, camp, youth sports, teen and family programs. The Committee helps the Y develop program standards, effective measures of program quality, and supports programs' ability to meet established goals. The Committee also helps the Y promote collaboration with Sonoma County schools and other community organizations.
The Community Programs Committee meets once per month, and is essential in advancing the Y's mission to strengthen the community through programs in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
