The Baltimore CASH - Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope - Campaign works to promote the economic stability and empowerment of low-income households in the Baltimore area. The campaign is the work of a coalition that includes foundations, nonprofits, community-based organizations, Baltimore City government agencies, the IRS, and hundreds of volunteers like you. The campaign focuses on helping working families access the tools and services needed to maximize their earning dollars.
Financial Resource Volunteers (FRVs) serve as tax-site resources on financial products and saving tools at tax sites throughout Baltimore. They listen to the financial goals of tax filers and then connect them with valuable on-site services such as credit union accounts, prepaid bank cards and U.S. savings bonds. They also support tax volunteers and site managers in offering these opportunities to tax clients.
