Certification Assistant

Posted on: March 6, 2013

Posted by: National Organization for Victim Assistance

Description

If you have free time to give and want to be a part of something historic, meaningful, and BIG then contact the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA). We are looking for volunteers to assist NOVA staff on a project to certify all Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) and Sexual Assault Response Prevention Victim Advocates (SARP VAs) in the U.S. Military. NOVA is currently working with the Department of Defense Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office to ensure that all military sexual assault victim advocates meet the highest standards of training and earn/receive certification.

To this end, we are looking for volunteers to help assemble and disseminate certification packages. Volunteer assistance is needed to: decorate/embellish certificates with ribbons & seals; affix certification card to award letter; assemble certification package and ready for mailing.

A small group of volunteers is needed in March, 2013 and then larger groups again several (scheduled) times during the year.

If you want to do something important while having fun in an upbeat office then ...don't wait! We want to hear from you!
