The volunteer project involves teaching children from poor and marginalized community in the non-formal schools about basic English and Mathematics, Health and Hygiene, and Environmental protection through creative learning methods like art, music, games etc. There will also be house visits and meetings with local people as part of the inter-cultural learning and to spread awareness on health and hygiene. Volunteers can take the school children to places for picnics and exposure visits. The group will visit temples in and around Bhubaneswar, Nandankan Zoo, Puri and Konark Temple. Volunteers will also get a chance to take part in some renovation work at local schools and orphanages and engage in activities like painting, making a kitchen garden, tree planting, etc.

Location: Bhubaneswar is one of the ancient cities of India, located in the Eastern part of India. It is the capital of the Indian state of Orissa (also known as Odisha).
