MOUNT KENYA CHILDREN HOME is looking for volunteers to come and help in the running of the home
the orphanage is established in a rural setup with the aim of empowering the children in these area , orphans and destitute to achieve their dream in life through education
An orphanage on the slopes of Mount Kenya is looking for volunteers in trhe following categories during this summer
1. Teachers. teach english, stories reading and answering questions, essay writting
2. Farm and Garden work. help children undertake simple tasks like feeding rabbits, fish, chicken, and goats
3. Cleaners. to help in cleaning their rooms, clothes,
4. Picnics, adventures, nature walk, cook outs, fishing, During the weekends
Our schedules are flexible to suit you with volunteer opportunities open at any time of the year
you can volunteer for 1 week to 3 months
as an individual, family or a group
In case of travelling to our national parks and snow cape mountain climbing we are ready to assist you with the information needed
Tranport from the airport to town center is by taxi and then public means to the home 3hrs drive
Accomodatoin and meals are cattered for wellthat means we house them separetelly in a house within the home
