Volunteer Opportunity description

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The volunteer would support the department of Quality Assurance through Social Media projects, primarily working on a Quality Assurance Forum.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Assist staff with developing the Quality Assurance Social Media Forum.
  • Serve as a moderator for the forum.
  • Engage forum users.
  • Develop topic threads and provide industry related information to forum users.
  • Assist in responding to questions or concerns and troubleshooting user issues.
  • Assist with developing and managing other Social Media initiatives in the QA department, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills and computer knowledge.
  • Experience with the use of social media platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with the field of Quality Assurance a plus.

Must meet the following requirements:

a) Be eighteen years of age of older.

b) Have at least some college or a college degree.

c) Pass a National Criminal History Record Information Check under the National Child Protection Act.

This is an unpaid volunteer position. Students seeking fieldwork experience or internships for academic credit are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be able to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week for 4 months.
