Location: Brattleboro, VT/ Croton-on-Hudson, New York in Westchester County
Duration: June 14-16 2013, Minimum time commitment 8 hours
Compensation: Volunteers who sign up for 16+ hours will receive a free festival ticket for the entire weekend

Description:
GRACE Cares partners with local heroes and communities on small-scale community development projects with big impacts. Our Mission is to empower communities to foster, preserve, and share their indigenous cultures and traditions. GRACE Cares provides expertise, funding, and support for health, education, cultural preservation, and economic development projects.
In June we will have a peace-art installation at the Clearwater Festival in Westchester NY. At this time we are seeking a peace fairy volunteers for the festival. (http:www.clearwaterfestival.org).
Scope/Duties:
- June 14th - Festival setup
- June 15th and 16th - staffing for the 3-4 projects run by our organization.
- Assistance with the children's booth and interactive activities
- Discussion of peace and art
- Assistance with setup and breakdown of projects before/after festival
- 4 hour shift minimum
Requirements:
- Passion for peace based education and awareness
- Background and experience in arts, teaching helping professions or construction.
- Excellent communications skills
- Personality: motivated, self starter, positive outlook on life and teamwork
