Role Purpose:

LevelTen Energy is accelerating renewable energy transactions by bringing energy buyers, advisors, sellers and financiers together, and providing the tools and services they need to fuel the clean energy transition. We need a sales and marketing specialist who can contribute to LevelTen’s long-term and short-term goals by increasing immediate demand for our Platform and services. In this role you will work closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Developer Services teams and be responsible for creating new opportunities for LevelTen Energy and our partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the value of LevelTen’s services to drive demand and strong participation in our Platform through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and social communications 
  • Generate opportunities to support annual revenue targets 
  • Identify and qualify new leads
  • Conduct screening calls to determine new viable opportunities
  • Respond to inbound inquiries 
  • Schedule consultation calls for the Sales and/or Developer Services teams
  • Maintain CRM account, contact, and opportunity information
  • Help as needed to promote webinars and events

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 - 3 years of progressively responsible marketing, sales, business development, or customer success experience
  • Must have a positive and extroverted attitude, ability to quickly develop rapport and maintain strong relationships, self-motivated, persistent, able to work independently, and  demonstrate an ability to deal with rejection
  • Comfortable with cold calling
  • Excellent writing and listening skills, highly organized, and extreme attention to detail
  • Able to strongly articulate a product’s value proposition/selling points and explain complex issues simply and clearly via phone and email
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of internal groups
  • Prior experience with CRM software, familiarity with Salesforce a plus
  • Knowledge or strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or energy markets is highly preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience with M&A transactions a plus
