The WeThrive team is looking for a skilled account executive to drive sales of our program management offerings to companies focused on social impact. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for aligning customer objectives with the WeThrive all-in-one program management platform.

To be successful in this role, you are strong at communicating across various business functions, organizational levels (including C-level), and social impact initiatives. Creativity, initiative, passion for social change and the ability to work effectively within a growing team are critical. You are also someone who is humble, hungry, and smart – you put the success of the team ahead of your own; you have a relentless drive to do what it takes to succeed; and you find a way to overcome obstacles and solve problems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the WeThrive platform, offerings, competitive advantages, and processes. Learn to articulate them persuasively to prospects and clients.
  • Develop strong and mutually valuable relationships with new and existing clients and partners.
  • Manage pipeline with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure.
  • Create standardized processes for CRM management
  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  • Research, engage, and qualify outbound leads
  • Schedule and host appointments and demos
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone, email, and video calls
  • Keep current with industry and social sector trends; engage prospects, address their programs challenges, and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (digital marketing, impact success, product) and apply learnings to Partnerships Development strategy
  • Approve and provide feedback on content development through a social sector lens

  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • Understanding of the social sector with the ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients that are based on data and experience.
  • A fast learner, you love to stay at the forefront of an ever-evolving industry.
