Our Impact

The Impact team has fundraised $1.7M+ for social causes and organizations like the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Ukrainian Refugees, and COVID-19 relief. With many of our content pieces, we aim to provide our readers with action items, directing hundreds of thousands of petition signatures to important causes such as Act for Antonio, Abortion Access, Justice for George Floyd, and many more.

Job Description

Impact is looking for our first Account Manager. We’re searching for a driven, entrepreneurial sales leader who is passionate about social justice, media, value-driven businesses, and content-driven partnerships. 

You will…

  • Lead process and strategy planning for larger flights and recurring business partnerships to determine (1) appropriate posting cadence and (2) key strategies to deploy during the course of a partnership
  • Apply product and industry knowledge in real time to suggest appropriate pivots to further accomplish identified strategic goals for partnerships
  • Manage numerous client/agency relationships at the same time
  • Own post-sale process: supporting IO and other documentation logistics, booking in CRM system, establishing KPIs and other benchmarks for success and facilitating kick-offs, creating wrap decks, 
  • Manage and mentor team members in AM department
  • Serve as the client’s primary point of contact for live campaigns while providing reporting, monitoring program performance and delivery
  • Lead performance-based and insightful client presentations (i.e. kick-off meetings, mid-campaign reports, and wrap reporting decks)
  • Partner with Editorial, Design, Sales and other internal teams to successfully launch and manage programs and campaigns
  • Work with Client Partnerships team to ideate marketing and comms campaigns as well as create upsell opportunities 
  • Create account management processes as need arises 

Salary Range: $75K - $90K.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following in their background…

  • 2-5+ years of experience in account management, sales, media sales, or advertising
  • Experience working in digital sales and account management
  • Experience at a leading publisher, social media platform, agency, or digital player
  • A knowledge of social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Snap and the latest social ad products
