Are you a person who cares for those who are going through a challenging time? You "lean in" when friends and people you care about are hurting? We are looking for someone just like YOU!

As the Bereavement and Volunteer Coordinator, your gifts are compassion and empathy. You thrive when you are able to connect people to resources during a challenging time, and you find great fulfillment in being a listening ear when others find themselves in times of grief and loss. The opportunity to invest in and expand the Bereavement and Volunteer Program excites you, because you see potential in things and enjoy the process of cultivating it. You are content to take initiative and work independently, but you are also a dynamic team player with a great sense of humor. If you have a love of supporting others, creatively building a network of resources, and developing programs, this job is for you!

At Sonata Hospice, we are committed to exceptional care, team collaboration, and enjoying the work we get to do every day. Because working with patients and families amidst their end-of-life and bereavement journeys can come with moments of both sadness and joy, we strive for a healthy work-life balance and enjoy celebrating successes together (the #SonataStrong team especially loves indulging in local eats and getting pumped up with our theme song, Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake).

If you are looking to join a team that values hard work, quality patient care, and a healthy and fun work environment, send us your resume and come join our #SonataStrong team! All we are missing on our #TeamofOne is you!
