What is ila

ila is an award-winning social start-up focused on bridging the gap between private and public sectors when it comes to gender-based violence. We are the creators of ALLY, a B2B mobile application turning local stores into safe spaces and bystanders into active allies. We do this by training retail staff to recognize signs of abuse and redirect victims towards help. ALLY certified stores are safe spaces for all facing abuse and can be publicly recognized by customers or bystanders alike through our ‘ALLY Safe Space’ window sticker. Since its inception, ila has worked with brands like Adidas, Psycle, UN Women, The London School of Economics & WeWork.
