    The mission of 1Care Hospice is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and their loved ones touched by a terminal illness. 1Care Hospice provides an individualized program of physical, emotional and spiritual care for clients and families experiencing life-limiting illness. The time best time to learn about hospice care is before services are needed. Any time during a life-limiting illness it is appropriate to discuss all healthcare options including hospice care. 1Care Hospice’s reputation is a result of our commitment to do more than what is required or expected. This is seen in the passion and commitment of our employees and volunteers who provide excellent hospice care.

    About Us

    Our 1Care Kids Pediatric program serves three distinct populations of children: those with chronic or complex conditions who require palliative medicine, those with serious conditions such as a life limiting illness, and those needing end-of-life care. 1Care Kids is a home-based, family oriented pediatric program servicing children and their families in Southern Nevada who are under the age of 21. 1Care Kids Specialized pediatric staff are available on an as-needed basis to support the entire family. If child’s condition becomes life limiting, the same team of specialized pediatric staff will remain with the child, providing an almost seamless transition to hospice care.

    Our Palliative and Hospice programs help support patients and families in the greater Reno, NV area. We are dedicated to providing individualized care that is responsive and family-centered. Our programs include access to MD and RN teams 24 hours per day and 7 days a week. Our team also provides psychosocial support through our social work, spiritual care, and child life specialist teams.

    1Care Hospice started in Las Vegas, NV and opened doors in Reno in 2023. We are looking for dedicated and caring volunteers to join our team!
