Description

'if i could...' have a number of organisations in Cape Town, Cape Winelands, New Delhi, and Hanoi looking for interns and volunteers to assist in their vision of empowering, educating, and uplifting women in resource poor settings. These organisations do remarkable work with these communities and run various programmes and initiatives to realise their vision of empowering women by celebrating and promoting their achievements. This is done through socio-economic rights-based and gender education, advocacy, human rights case work, and building social movements.

Gender advocacy is critical particularly in India and South Africa which have high rates of gender-based violence. This is a special opportunity to develop and hone your personal and professional skills, experience a new city and meet the local communities, boost your résumé, and make a tangible impact on the lives of some of the most vulnerable people living in these communities.
