BV specializes in nonprofit and philanthropy/foundation management.  We help our clients identify their vision, determine what it will take to get there and navigate the process with logic and compassion.  We believe if we approach our work together with intention and openness, this allows for significant shifts to occur and opens infinite possibilities.  We’ve been blessed with incredibly effective word-of-mouth advertising, and haven’t yet devoted much effort to our online marketing presence.  This is where an intern will come in.

We seek an intern within the California or Texas area with strong social media/marketing and writing skills to help us drive content creation and dissemination with the ultimate goal of business and client development for our consulting firm. Please submit resume and cover letter to qualify!

To improve our web presence and marketing efforts, our intern will be expected to:

·       Work with our experts to increase production of blog articles, email newsletters, infographics, video content, etc.

·       Research, evaluate and apply knowledge of other social media/marketing efforts of similar organizations

·       Brainstorm new opportunities or platforms through which BV can expand its marketing efforts

·       Help with the design of short-term and long-term marketing goals and strategies

Our ideal candidate for this position is a developing professional from whom we expect:

·       Excellent writing, research, and communication skills

·       Proficiency with common social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, and user-friendly software like SquareSpace, Canva and Constant Contact (no coding necessary)

·       Basic video editing skills (may come in handy)

·       Self-starting, autonomous, reliable, organized and meticulous professionalism

·       Willing to learn how to utilize GoogleAds and Google Analytics

·       Strong presentation building skills/proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

·       A time commitment of 10 hours/week, for a minimum of 1 academic year

We are offering:

·       A minimum of 30 minutes of direct supervision and mentorship weekly

·       Real-world experience helping an already successful firm take its marketing to the next level

·       An invaluable professional experience with significant autonomy and project management skill-building

This is a paid remote internship starting at $18/hour with potential for increases based on performance and/or prior experience. Please submit resume and cover letter to qualify!
