Donorly seeks a full-time Digital Fundraising Consultant to join our growing team in support of our nonprofit clients.

The transparent, formula-based salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 and is determined through calculations based on geographic cost of living, experience, client and team responsibilities, and leadership within the field.

Donorly is a partially remote workplace. Candidates living outside NYC are welcome to apply.

QUALITIES AND SKILLS

The ideal candidate for the Consultant position is a collaborative, team-oriented individual with:

  • Strong knowledge and upkeep with current fundraising trends for social media, mobile, and digital acquisition.
  • Experience planning and managing multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail, including editing and proofreading abilities
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Client/customer-oriented mindset
  • A motivated, can-do spirit!

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • 5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience
  • Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement digital fundraising strategies
  • Experience working closely with high-level decision-makers, such as executives or board members

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead or partner on client projects including in-house counsel, interim staffing, strategic planning, and campaign implementation, specifically in the realm of digital fundraising
  •  Oversee creation and execution of cultivation, stewardship, and engagement communications, as well as direct solicitations online.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with client leadership, board members and their relationships with donors and donor prospects.
  • Partner with client leadership to create a strong fundraising message that articulates the organization’s highest priorities, and appeals to potential donors
  • Collaborate with clients and staff to provide research-based analysis to assist with cultivation and solicitation strategies

All full-time Donorly team members also engage with our anti-racism commitment via participation in working groups, trainings, and retreats.

Some evening and weekend hours may be required, usually with ample advance notice.
