ThinkPlace Kenya is a strategic design and innovation firm based in Nairobi. We are looking to recruit a Strategic Designer who is familiar with Human-Centered Design principles and design thinking. 


This is a mid-level position within the company which requires you to be a natural problem-solver and creative thinker. We expect that you have experience managing creative teams, working direct with clients, standing up projects, etc.


Strategic Designers must possess strong writing skills, visualisation skills, and an eagerness to work in collaborative, team-based environments. Strategic Designers must also possess experience conducting user research, facilitating workshops, and prototyping and testing design interventions.


Our immediate business needs are for work in Mozambique and Francophone West Africa, respectively. These projects would take place in-country and we would expect you to be willing to travel between field locations and our Nairobi studio.


Experience in the Mozambican or Angolan context is an advantage. 

Proficiency in Portuguese (written and spoken) is an advantage. 


Proficiency in French is an advantage.


Kenyan nationality is an advantage.
