About the role

FreeWill is seeking a Partner Success Operations Associate to play an integral role in creating and maintaining scalable systems as FreeWill’s Partner Success team grows rapidly and accelerates our work supporting nonprofits (large and small) across the country. This is a full-time, remote role.

Partner Success Operations Goals

  • Drive continuous process improvement to achieve and maintain operational excellence for a partner-facing team 
  • Work cross-functionally to support a superior partner experience 
  • Facilitate smooth milestones along customer journey, including onboarding, renewal, partnership reviews, engagement, strategist transitions, and churn
  • Proactively support team members
  • Ensure all critical data is captured and workflows/automations are efficient 
  • Document existing and future operations frameworks; help develop training materials 
  • Bring creative solutions to a broad range of operational challenges 


  • Own the provisioning of new partner landing pages in the FreeWill application by managing back-end settings (coding skills not required)
  • Track send, open, and click rates for external communications generated by workflow automations in Churn Zero
  • Act with FreeWill’s values of focus, joy, kindness, and courage

Within six months, you will:

  • Troubleshoot Churn Zero and workflow-related issues for the team and provide technical support
  • Learn how to build automations in Churn Zero and manage workflow updates in Churn Zero
  • Play a key role in development and implementation of new team processes and workflow automations

Required Skills and Experience

As a venture-backed startup, things move very quickly at FreeWill. As such, we expect the responsibilities for this role to frequently shift, and aim to hire an individual who is comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced environment. Additional requirements: 

  • Strategic, analytical thinker and proactive problem solver
  • Ability to learn new platforms quickly and independently
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and fine-tuned attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity that drives a willingness to learn and take on projects outside area of primary expertise
  • Smarts, tenacity, and kindness
  • Experience working in customer success, system administration, and/or nonprofit fundraising is a plus
