POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development + Communications, the Marketing Manager will manage and implement internal and external marketing and communication programs that will increase the awareness and reputation of Eisner Health, provide quality and relevant communication to our patients, and foster alliances with the broader community. The ideal candidate for Eisner Health’s incoming Marketing Manager will possess a passion for supporting and educating Eisner Health patients (primarily low-income and Latinx populations) in accessing healthcare and their continued health.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Marketing & Communication

  • Plans, directs, manages and evaluates strategies and initiatives for internal and external communications, including patient communications, brand management, marketing, publications, and crisis communications. 
  • Creates high-quality English and Spanish content and production of printed and digital media for our website, newsletters, publications, brochures, press releases, event promotion, and annual report.
  • Manages website content and design.
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with all Eisner Health departments to ensure quality and timely content for patient population.
  • Provides marketing support at all events for a variety of target audiences, including patient, community and donors.
  • Produces marketing reports, including report for the President + CEO, Board of Directors, and other agencies as requested. 
  • Tracks and maintains media library of all press results and evaluations media coverage and ROI.
  • Adheres to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations. 
  • Writes talking points and develops preparatory materials as needed. 
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Marketing, and Communication methods, best practices, emerging trends, and opportunities for growth.

Management & Supervision

  • Supervises and mentors the Social Media Coordinator.
  • Supports management of external agencies or consultants as necessary. 
  • Promotes a culture of accountability, ethical decision-making, adherence to mission, and excellence within advancement.
  • Provides thoughtful leadership relative to administrative functions throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Bilingual-Bicultural fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, including the ability to share information clearly in both written and oral presentations; and create high impact presentation materials that present complex information and issues with brevity, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Five plus years of experience in marketing, copyediting, and management, preferably in a health and human services organization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accountability, measuring outcomes, and a results-oriented culture.
  • Familiarity working in trauma-informed organizations or using trauma-informed language preferred.
  • Ability to construct, articulate, and implement annual and long-term strategic plans.
  • Strong interpersonal, supervision, administration, and management skills, including ability to build consensus and facilitate a positive, productive work environment.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, WordPress and Adobe.
  • Familiarity with project management and donor tracking systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages, and backgrounds.
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, strong problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
