Position Overview 

Synchronicity Events seeks an experienced professional to join our dedicated, tight-knit team as we grow to meet increasing demand for our dynamic, engaging, successful events! As Production Specialist you will direct and fulfill a wide range of duties.


Responsibilities 

●      Support client projects:

o   Project management support, including building and maintaining timelines, managing contact lists and checklists, scheduling meetings, creating meeting agendas and notes.

o   Event Production tasks including vendor research, vendor management and contract negotiation, décor design/build/installation, sourcing supplies & materials.

o   Fundraising support including configuring fundraising software, advising clients on best practices for fundraising, scripting, and communication.

o   Graphic design projects for client events.


Qualifications 

The ideal candidate will:

… have a proven track record of successful project management including managing a timeline, tracking deadlines, and communicating and collaborating effectively with a team.

… have professional (or volunteer) experience working in a non-profit organization, with a focus on fundraising and/or communications

… have professional experience or familiarity with video production, television production, or A/V support for live events.

… show talent and confidence in writing and editing. 

… have skills in visual design, graphic design, video editing, creating print and digital materials.

… have comfort and a willingness to learn and adopt multiple new technology tools, such as facilitating video meetings, driving transitions inside meeting software, using project management systems, configuring ticketing and event apps.

… practice sensitivity in communicating with humans from a wide range of backgrounds, and show skill at working with people who are in a range of emotional states -- including effective communication with clients who need help managing stress on their ‘big event day’.

… display stellar interpersonal skills and provide precise details in person-to-person meetings, email, text and phone.

… follow the news, and have awareness and comfort talking about current cultural movements, style trends and political events.

… feel inspired to express Synchronicity’s values (listed below) in your daily work.

… be a bad-ass self-starter and amaze us with how organized you are.

…live in the Seattle/King County metro area.

Compensation 

This is an hourly position. Hourly wage DOE, starting range is $25/hr to $30/hr. Synchronicity offers Medical and Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, Employer Matching Funds for your charitable giving, and a Retirement Plan.


Work Schedule

Hours are flexible and much of your work will be self-scheduled. Hours will fluctuate seasonally as low as 20 hours/week, as high as 50 hours/week with an average of 30 hours/week. We hold one in-person staff meeting each month. Most other work is accomplished remotely. Must be available to work (with advance notice) at events on weekends and evenings, including many evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the year.
