Position Responsibilities

We are seeking a full-time Program Coordinator (“PC”) to support us across our partnerships to ensure we can effectively deliver powerful professional learning and support to our partner organizations. The PC will report to Director of Projects and collaborate with other SchoolKit team members and contracted staff as needed. Currently, we are working with partners in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, PA, and throughout the state of Louisiana. The PC will…

  • Support with the development and monitoring of project management timelines, team communications, and work plans to ensure proactive planning on all partnerships
  • Support with implementation of our professional learning partnerships including planning events from inception to completion and coordinating staffing and facilitator training plans
  • Serve as on-site project coordinator and manage logistics for professional development events
  • Develop and manage school and district-facing communications, including liaising with clients to plan trainings and events 
  • Develop materials for professional development based on guidance from Content Team
  • Support with finalization of professional learning content, including copy-editing and reviewing final training materials
  • Organize and curate all of our professional learning content and digital files
  • Support with writing proposals for new projects as needed
  • Support with program evaluation and analysis work as needed
  • Assist President, Director of Projects, and Director of Content with operational needs
  • Other activities as requested by the SchoolKit Directors and President

Desired Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 1 - 3 years teaching experience or work in an education-related field
  • Superb writing and editing skills
  • A track record of success planning events and managing projects

Location: This position will be based out of a home office in Denver, CO, Washington, DC, or Philadelphia, PA. Expected travel time is up to 30%.
