Vice President - Digital Strategy

ROLE

Do Big Things is hiring a Vice President for Digital Strategy. This role will focus on developing strategy and messaging for our clients, leading client teams, and overseeing the execution of large-scale digital programs for our clients. 

We’re looking for someone with a robust digital strategy background as well as extensive experience managing client relationships. The role will report to the Managing Director, Creative Strategy. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Running strategic planning processes and creating actionable deliverables that equip clients to bring those strategies to life. Includes leading message development processes and building strategic communications campaigns and calendars that are driven by and responsive to a client’s goals.
• Leading the implementation of large-scale, multi-channel digital campaigns, including tracking progress toward goals, monitoring budgets, and adjusting plans based on results and key metrics.
• Providing excellent client management via responsive, timely, and strategic counsel to a full slate of diverse clients, including providing strategic and messaging guidance during rapid-response moments.
• Managing large internal client teams, including partnering with our ads, creative, and production teams to bring strategies to life and ensure flawless execution of content across platforms.
• Following industry trends to stay on top of the latest in social media, email, and digital platforms—and integrating new ideas into our work.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital strategy work
• Experience managing client relationships required, with prior digital agency experience preferred
• Advocacy, nonprofit, and/or political experience preferred 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management & organization skills
• Excellent reporting and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and large teams
• Ability to comfortably multitask and manage time effectively against multiple (and sometimes competing) deadlines
