About Collectively
WHO WE ARE
Collectively is a holistic change management, leadership development and coaching practice. We partner with cross-sector clients to help them identify core adaptive, strategic, and structural challenges, and design the right interventions to create lasting, values-aligned change.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Collectively, we are driven by four core beliefs:
- We believe that leadership is a skill that is developed and honed through self-exploration, experiential practice, network weaving and experimentation;
- We believe that we learn best when we ground ourselves in purpose with mindfulness and clarity;
- We believe in the transformational power of community - that it's on each of us to raise each other with kindness, humility, curiosity and empathy; that it's on each of us to hold ourselves & our people accountable to the mistakes we make, to the harm we cause, to the joy we generate, to the possibilities we hold; and
- We believe that individual evolution is key to collective progress.
Working from these core beliefs, we help individuals, teams, organizations and movements hone their visions for change and learn how to exercise leadership more strategically and with greater impact. We work with leaders, both seasoned and emerging, from many different fields who come to Collectively with a desire to increase their capacity to collaborate across differences, build culture and community, and make progress on shared challenges.
The Role
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced trainer and facilitator to lead the delivery of our signature management training program at Collectively.
Launched in 2023, Collectively’s People Manager Development Program is a unique and proven training program designed specifically for people managers leading fast-growth and changing teams. Guided by our Expectations-Resources-Accountability (ERA) Management Framework ©, this cohort-based program combines group learning sessions (workshops) and integration and application sessions (group coaching).
This role is ideal for a very seasoned, confident facilitator who is passionate about driving impactful change within organizations by helping individuals develop and sharpen their management skills.
This role will work closely with Molly Rodau, Founder and Principal of Collectively.
IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL GET TO:
- Foster the development of high-impact leaders through the delivery of our signature management training program
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency in program delivery
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our training programs
- Contribute to creating a work environment that inspires success, promotes bold ideas, and is committed to learning and evolution
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 5+ years of experience facilitating management and/or leadership development content
- Experience as a people manager
- Experience with virtual learning platforms (we use Zoom)
- A desire to learn quickly and stay abreast of industry best practices, and leverage insights to suggest improvements to our existing program(s)
- Ability to work well with various people, personalities, multiple timelines/calendars, and a fast-paced environment
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
- A commitment to being a life-long learner
- A cell phone, computer, and access to high speed, high quality internet
WHAT WE’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
- An exciting and clear vision and curriculum for supporting teams and organizations in moments of complexity, conflict, and growth
- Openness to new ideas and ways of working
- A genuine desire to share knowledge and learn from one another
- A desire for open communication, feedback loops, and collaboration
THIS ROLE IS PROBABLY NOT RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
- You prefer designing training curriculums rather than executing the training work itself (though we encourage feedback and iteration on current curriculums; this is primarily a facilitation role)
- You do not have direct management experience
- You are an experienced coach, but not an experienced facilitator
- You like ideas more than action
- You don’t like to get your hands dirty and try new things
