Recruiter

An exceptionally organized, customer-service oriented recruiter who is passionate about finding the right people to power the next phase of Arabella’s significant growth.

A key member of Arabella’s Culture and Talent Team, the Recruiter will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers to source and deliver talent to the organization across a broad spectrum of roles. The right candidate will be relentless in ensuring an exceptional candidate experience, delivering strong hiring manager customer service, and fulfilling the firm’s strategic initiatives to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

Essential responsibilities

• Create and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and serve as a trusted advisor in selecting the best possible talent for their teams
• Manage multiple, full life-cycle equitable hiring processes simultaneously, including drafting position descriptions; reviewing resumes; scheduling and conducting interviews; checking reference; making offers
• Help build proactive and innovative strategies that attract and result in the hiring of qualified candidates of color, including building relationships with local colleges and universities and other external organizations
• Support and provide trainings on Arabella’s recruiting protocols and techniques to hiring teams, as needed
• Help enhance systems to guide and track the effectiveness and efficiency of Arabella’s recruitment and selection strategies, for example, to reduce average time to fill
• Deliver an exceptional experience for all applicants, for example by responding to all inquiries within 48 hours and ensuring communications are warm and accessible
• Serve as a model ambassador for Arabella as a great place to work by representing the firm at networking events and job fairs
• Contribute to other talent acquisition functions, as needed, for example new hire onboarding, background checks, job postings, etc
• Support the broader Culture & Talent team’s efforts to meet and exceed customer service standards

To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need

• 3-5 years of relevant, full-life cycle recruiting experience. Demonstrated experience leveraging proactive/passive candidate sourcing strategies for tough-to-fill positions is a must
• Experience serving as a strategic thought partner and support to hiring managers
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while ensuring quality control
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing best practices around diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring and recruitment
• A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to use that intelligence to appropriately adapt to stakeholders’ and customers’ needs
• The ability to take ownership and be creative and solutions-oriented when encountering challenges that don’t have obvious answers
• The ability to effectively help communicate complex and nuanced messages, both written and verbal, to a variety of audiences, including adapting style, tone and content to meet various needs
• The ability to use available resources and feedback to continually develop mastery in your role and facilitate team learning, including a willingness to request feedback and incorporate it to improve individual performance
• Previous experience as an administrator of an applicant tracking system is a plus
