We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Coordinator to be a key part of a small, high-performing marketing team that supports nearly 50 staff. You will conduct experiments, build and track the buyer’s journey, and use data to enhance our marketing and sales initiatives in order to successfully respond to evolving business needs. Strong analytical skills are a must. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, personable, proactive, detail-oriented, and has strong organizational management skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Based in the marketing department under the supervision of the Marketing & Production Manager, a coordinator’s primary client is the firm and its staff. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing & Campaign Operations

  • Spearhead the selection, integration, optimization, and governance surrounding marketing technology for the department and the firm (CRM, marketing automation, etc.)
  • Establish and manage the technology infrastructure (in partnership with IT)
  • Establish and manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads (includes lead segmentation efforts).
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance (in partnership with IT)
  • Provide day-to-day operational administration of databases, ensuring data quality, standards, and cleanliness
  • Partner with the Marketing & Content Coordinator to perform keyword research in coordination with business goals to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Partner with the Marketing & Content Coordinator to align leads, campaigns, and content operations with the buyer’s journey
  • Partner with the Marketing & Content Coordinator to set up, produce, and manage measurement, analytics, reporting, and dashboards of marketing and sales activities, and their effectiveness and business impact
  • Partner with the Marketing & Content Coordinator to provide recommendations that enhance future campaign performance and measurements
  • Partner with the Marketing & Production Manager to improve alignment with sales

Relationship Management and Administration

  • Assist in ongoing engagement and day-to-day activities with internal staff, clients, vendors, partners, affiliates, etc. as it relates to marketing. This includes regular and ad-hoc reporting, research, calendar management, knowledge management, among other duties.
  • Provide general administrative support, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, filing, note-taking, meeting follow-up, etc.

Desired Skills / Background


  • Bachelor’s degree required. In addition to those with marketing education and experience, we also encourage candidates to apply who are from diverse industries that have strong data / analytics skills, such as investment banking, finance, economics, sciences, IT help desk, operations, agencies, or consultancies.


  • Minimum of two years professional experience
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation systems required (plus willingness to learn a new system). Experience working with CMS a plus.
  • Experience (work or volunteer) and personal interest in the social sector strongly preferred


  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as technical ability
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat; comfortable with organizing and sharing data in both digital and print mediums
  • Excellent communication and people skills; ability to discuss complex information in an easy-to-understand manner with clear recommendations based on data-derived insights
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with managers and staff 
  • Self-motivated, ability to work on multiple teams as well as work independently
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of humor and commitment to ensuring a congenial, collaborative, and respectful work place
  • Roll up your sleeves, can-do attitude
  • A passion to excel, be creative, and intellectually curious; a design-eye a plus
  • Familiarity / interest in agile marketing a plus
