Our Client Services Management Team is composed of 5-6 expert fundraisers, dedicated team builders, and committed consultants who are passionate about making Elevate’s services to clients the best they can be. Overview of Position

Elevate’s Client Services Supervisors are experienced fundraisers and company leaders whose primary responsibility is to align the work of Elevate staff to company goals, priorities, and expectations for client services. They are accountable for ensuring that Elevate provides a consistently high-quality service to our nonprofit partners while fostering a strong, inclusive culture that supports the growth and development of all staff members.

As company leaders, supervisors are accountable for strengthening Elevate as a business, cultivating engaged teams committed to growth and learning, meeting a high standard of professional conduct for their own work, and upholding company-wide standards and best practices in their work with Elevate clients.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

All Elevate supervisors are responsible for the following core duties:

  • Oversee the work of up to 10 direct reports through weekly or bi-weekly check-ins.
  • Serve on client teams in a client-facing fundraising role. Precise client workload will be adjusted depending on number of staff supervised and on fundraising strengths and interests.
  • Lead staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training processes, including the development of new training tools and resources.
  • Develop and implement performance management tools and systems, including training and performance improvement plans, competency frameworks, and performance review tools.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of core business processes, including new client business development, new product development, data and information management, key processes and workflows, and overall team and department structures.

Institutional Fundraising & Consulting

All candidates must have a strong background in institutional fundraising. They will demonstrate knowledge of multiple sectors or issue areas, experience communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to advance a fundraising strategy, and experience overseeing the work of other development staff. 

Leading the Business

Candidates must have experience in leadership positions in which they have demonstrated strong judgment and ethical decision-making, effective internal and external communication skills, problem identification and resolution, and exemplary time and priority management. 

Leading Others

Candidates must have experience in a formal management role, with responsibilities for staff hiring, onboarding, training, and retention. Strong candidates will have a successful track record of translating organization-wide goals into individual professional development goals for supervisees and creating a motivational environment that fosters success and a sense of connectedness for staff at all levels. 

Leading Self

Candidates must demonstrate emotional intelligence, conflict and change management skills, an inclination toward collaboration and relationship-building, and openness to ongoing growth and learning. All candidates will be expected to align their work to Elevate’s values.

Salary

$70,000 - $90,000This position will be full-time exempt. Our starting salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, with the precise salary determined based on our application process and our competency framework for this position.
