Impact Communications, Inc. is seeking a MARKETING & CLIENT COORDINATOR who will fulfill three critically important jobs:

  • working closely with the President and Vice President on marketing and business promotion activities
  • working on client accounts and providing coordination of their fundraising campaigns
  • serving as back-up for operational and office support


Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities (40%)

  • Assisting in developing and implementing an annual marketing program to grow business and achieve monthly revenue goals
  • Actively calling and soliciting business, including attending industry events
  • Developing agenda for and facilitating monthly marketing meeting
  • Coordinating marketing team and ensuring all members are completing their assigned tasks
  • Tracking revenue projections based on marketing activities and reporting on monthly revenue goals vs. actuals
  • Representing Impact Communications in a professional way at all events (the position does require some evening hours)
  • Leading and coordinating marketing campaigns focused around products, trainings, conferences, etc.
  • Preparing and submitting proposals for new business
  • Developing PowerPoint presentations for company speaking engagements, etc.
  • Data entry and maintenance of company database and lists for marketing efforts
  • Working with Client Liaisons to create and implement client stewardship and retention plans
  • Maintaining Impact’s electronic marketing including the website, quarterly e-newsletters, promotional emails, regular Facebook posts, Twitter feed, and LinkedIn

Client Coordinator Responsibilities (50%)

  • Communication and coordination with clients on current and upcoming projects
  • Scheduling of strategy and creative meetings and other client meetings
  • Proactive planning for upcoming projects including forecasting and budgeting
  • Prepare President and Client Liaisons for creative calls and meetings, including preparing agenda, timeline, and background materials
  • Follow-up coordination after client meetings, including follow-up emails, notes, creative brief preparation and other project management
  • Advise writers on the creative direction and goals for projects and assist with fundraising writing
  • Assist client in routing copy through their approval process and remind client of deadlines
  • Provide proofing for draft copy and art
  • Deliver copy to the client on-time and error-free
  • Follow up with client to obtain feedback on copy and work with project writer to complete suggested edits
  • Coordinate with designers to manage graphic design process including approvals through final artwork
  • Close out project by collecting final artwork, results and begin to plan next project
  • Build relationship with client through regular check ins and gatherings

Administrative (10%)

  • Filing samples and other documents both digitally and hard copies
  • Participation in company events, meetings, and staff retreat
  • Other duties, as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 1-2 years office experience (agency or nonprofit environment experience preferred)
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment
  • Superb follow-through on all tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to collaborate within a creative team
  • Computer savvy and experienced with Mac software
  • Up-to-date skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; general familiarity with databases
  • Quick thinker and likes to solve problems
  • Extremely detail oriented and passionate about quality
  • Excellent people skills
  • Passionate about good causes
