Job Description:

The Digital Media Manager, Projects and Accounts coordinates all client-facing projects and select internal campaigns and projects. The position includes overseeing project operations on various platforms to include Monday.com, Sprout, Google analytics, and any other technology or platform used to inform performance of campaigns, execution of project deliverables, and coordination with project freelancers and contractors. The Project and Account manager will use current data and insights to ensure Luz Collective is meeting and exceeding client expectations, staying within project budgets, while delivering impeccable client customer service. Knowledge of paid social media campaigns and how they work is necessary, in addition to being able to put together a project narrative through update and closing reports. The Project and Account manager ensures all projects are running smoothly and that Luz Collective delivers consistent high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client project deliverables are executed on time, within budget, and in a superior fashion
  • Brief CEO as often as needed on internal and external needs and insights
  • Provide sales support for products and sales packages, including providing audience data, performance metrics, and cost estimates
  • Advise on cost estimates for audience delivery in coordination with internal staff or external consultants
  • Oversee and monitor all paid and unpaid Luz and client campaigns and content strategies optimized for audience growth and client service delivery
  • Manage, develop, and maintain relationships with influencers for Luz’s growing influencer marketing services
  • Oversee Day-To-Day client operations
  • Other Items as set by the CEO

Day to Day Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
  • Assist with overall with company sales strategy
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with influencers
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Communicates client needs and demands to CEO and applicable departmental staff in a timely manner
  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting

Luz Collective Goals:

  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
  • Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Keep records of client transactions
  • Assist with media planning and product pricing
  • Edit sales decks & one-sheets when needed
  • Provide guidance and feedback on creative for sales purposes
  • Coordinate with media buyers and optimize for maximum and cost-effective delivery of client agreements
  • Provide CEO weekly pacing reports for all active paid campaigns
  • Gather insights and data for client recap decks
  • Oversee execution of

- Freelancers:

  • Their contracts
  • Project timelines

- Legal counsel and/or project clarifications on paid campaigns

  • Other Items as set by the CEO

Oversee day-to-day Staff and Freelance Operations for Client Projects:

  • Oversight of communications to ensure clear informational flow across departments/people that creates a seamless and efficient workflow
  • Luz Staff and Freelancers are:
  • Clear on what results are expected, and accountable to them
  • Understand their purpose, can operate with autonomy, and mastery
  • Staying within budgets defined by the CEO

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- 2-3 years' experience in digital marketing, social media marketing and/or related internet business

- 2 years’ experience in account management and/or project management. Both is preferred.

- Ability to work with vendors, consultants, and staff

- Proven ability to analyze data to inform marketing strategy

- Highly organized, disciplined, and independent thinker who can work with little oversight

- Can manage several different projects with multiple moving parts under short timelines

- Excellent writing, editing, and communication with impeccable grammar and proofreading skills

- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and research skills

- Expertise with various social media platforms. Emphasis on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

- Social analytics tools knowledge: Sprout Social, Google Analytics, social media platform analytics

- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

- Familiarity with Microsoft office products such as word and excel, plus Google Drive, docs, and sheets

- Preferred: Experience creating or managing online assets for brand marketing including a working knowledge of image editing, HTML editing or other graphic design experience

- Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish

- Preferred: interest in social justice, knowledge about progressive politics, and/or artivism for social change

- $50k per year, full-time
