As Coaching Manager, you will help One Family address the issue of family homelessness from all sides. Through supervision of our core programs — One Family Scholars, Credential to Career Coaching and our Training and Technical Assistance offerings — you will help families experiencing or at risk of homelessness increase their income to achieve economic and housing stability. This is a unique opportunity because you will serve as both a staff manager and also a coach during a portion of each day. You share a belief that all families should have access to secure housing, education that leads to employment, and the ability to build assets to create a brighter future and will support the coaches on your team in meeting these ambitious goals with clients.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll be a wonderful addition to our team if you have a passion for team-based management, leadership, and service, and are energized by the opportunity to help others work step-by-step to achieve life-changing goals. Prior experience as a coach and leading a team is required and we look forward to receiving applications from candidates who have formal experience in both areas of work, as well as from those who have led volunteer or community groups during their free time.
As Coaching Manager, you will mentor, supervise, and invest in the growth of your team, including Senior Coaches, Coaches and a Programs Coordinator, in service of the families we serve. Your core work is to provide oversight of and be accountable for this group’s performance and outcomes. You will work closely with other members of the program team and cross functionally within the organization to ensure communication and collaboration across One Family departments. You will also serve as a coach for up to ten clients in our core programs.
Please be sure to apply if it’s your ambition to be a strong advocate for the success of your team while also advocating for the success of clients in programs.
