The Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager / Client Success Manager to join our Partner Success team. As a primary point of contact with our higher ed institutions, you will manage a portfolio of currently-established partners to strategically deliver optimal customer service experiences for every client. You will coordinate and collaborate with ReUp team members in our department and across Product, Sales, Coaching and Marketing to ensure partner satisfaction and growth. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building long-lasting and mutually beneficial institution partnerships and facilitating our ability to successfully support students. 

A successful candidate will have a service mindset and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills. They will have a keen eye for details and an eagerness to ensure that partner needs are met while maximizing mutual business opportunities. You must also be self-motivated, results-driven, team-oriented, and able to operate nimbly in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a remote position that can be based in select US states (see Location section below for details). This position reports to our Head of Partner Success.

What we do

Founded in 2015, ReUp Education is the only organization that focuses exclusively on helping colleges and universities engage and re-enroll the more than 40% of US students who have “stopped out” and support them until graduation, through our technology-enabled service. To date, we have re-enrolled over 16,000 students and recaptured over $54 million in tuition for our university partners.

What you’ll do

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with a variety of clients through multi-year partnerships
  • Proactively engage with clients to ensure their needs are met throughout their relationship with ReUp
  • Work with stakeholders at various levels of the partner organization
  • Collaborate across ReUp teams to support client goals
  • Leverage data-driven insights to track, manage, and engage our clients, while consistently managing results and customer health
  • Take ownership of challenges and opportunities with partners by recommending and implementing optimal solutions
  • Create business reports, reviews, and engaging slide decks to clearly convey quarterly progress, forecasts, and improvement opportunities
  • Lead regular meetings and partnership review presentations for your portfolio of clients

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in account management with a variety of clients
  • You have experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • You are flexible and have a problem-solving orientation
  • You are a natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity; you work effectively in a team
  • You are able to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively
  • You offer strong presentation creation abilities 
  • You possess highly-tuned listening, communication and negotiation skills
  • You have strong analytical skills with an understanding of performance metrics and experience analyzing spreadsheets and charts
  • You have experience with Salesforce, MS Office and Google Workspace
  • You care about ReUp’s mission and are committed to helping us open new opportunities to students
  • You are comfortable with some travel

  • You approach data with curiosity and willingness to explore why student results for each partner institution are what they are
  • You have the ability to turn those whys into a compelling story for a partner to help them better serve all of their student population, not just stopouts
  • You have a knack for managing change and a willingness to think outside of the box to solve a problem
  • You intuitively know (or know how to discover) what a partner cares about and how to provide them that information and support their objectives, strategic plans and mission
  • You create company growth through renewal of existing partner contracts and identifying new areas of partner growth
