Position Description

EduDream has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and effective operations leader to join the team. The Operations Associate will be instrumental to the successful day-to-day operations of EduDream and will contribute to EduDream’s efforts to advance educational equity. This is a mid-level role designed for someone whose love of organization and systems improvement will help EduDream enhance productivity, boost efficiency, and further our mission. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, enjoy analyzing and improving systems and processes, and bring strong project management and administrative experience to support the organization. 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Operations Associate will focus on two main organizational areas in partnership with other team members. We will ensure you have the information and direction you need to succeed. 

Internal Operations and Administration (75%)

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage organizational databases and software systems, including but not limited to: project management software, CRM system, and time-management system
  • Run regular reports to monitor organizational performance
  • Maintain organizational operations documents, such as templates, forms, and trackers, and ensure quality control
  • Execute contracts and oversee new client onboarding
  • Analyze existing processes; design and implement more efficient processes and systems
  • Provide project support, including but not limited to client communication, outreach, and follow-ups; scheduling support; monitoring and revising work plans, etc.
  • Communicate effectively, orally or in writing, with team members, clients, and other project stakeholders.

Business Development (25%)

  • Support the business development process, including conducting secondary research, contributing to drafting clear and compelling proposals, creating budgets, and coordinating timely preparation and submission of proposals
  • Research new funding opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date contact and outreach information in the CRM system.

Position Qualifications

Interested applicants should possess many of the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred
  • At least two (2) years of experience in an operations or administrative support role, preferably in nonprofit or education settings
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use or learn new programs and software with accuracy.
  • Accuracy with work and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communicator who is responsive to feedback, collaborative, and a team player
  • Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with others
  • Ability to work productively in a web-based environment, both independently and in teams
  • Flexibility to handle multiple priorities, sometimes simultaneously, under deadline pressure
  • A sense of initiative and willingness to ask questions and self-advocate in the work environment
  • Demonstrated passion and commitment to educational equity

Compensation

The salary range for a full-time salaried position is $50,000-$60,000, depending on experience.

Salary

$50,000 - $60,000
