The Opportunity

Correlation One is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help to further the Data Science for All mission- a global initiative to help all people earn their place in the big data economy regardless of race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.

About this role

The Sales Development Representative will have a direct impact on Correlation One’s mission by developing relationships with senior diversity, talent, and data leaders to create pathways for employment for DS4A graduates. This person will refine and develop systematic processes for prospecting, maintaining engagement, and developing relationships with key stakeholders in data-driven Enterprises. A successful Partnerships Associate will work closely with Correlation One’s sales and marketing leadership to ensure Correlation One is at the forefront of diverse data hiring now and in the future.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with C1’s Sales Director to build and manage high-quality prospect and opportunity pipelines.
  • Meet quarterly goals for opportunity generation and advancement
  • Maintain excellent records tracking activity and key account events in Salesforce
  • Practice strategy, messaging (written+verbal), and qualification skills in-line with top-line organizational goals
  • Work with C1’s Marketing Team to maintain engagement with key prospects and capitalize on engagement metrics
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the needs/wants/desires of leaders in Talent, Diversity, and Data 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities 
  • Exceptional written communication skills including copywriting for cold emails, engagement messages, and B2B-focused blog content
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a goal to improve on a daily basis
  • Comfortable with scheduling tools and managing shared calendars in a virtual-first sales environment
