Job Type

Full Time

United States

Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. is looking for highly ambitious candidates for our Regional Field Director positions. Both Congress and the White House have been seized by far right extremism that will continue to undo every ounce of progress we have made if they are not stopped in 2018. Grassroots Campaigns is working with our partner groups on the front lines to ensure that we take back our country and continue to progress forward in whatever way we can. Our Regional Field Directors are a vital part of this work and implement large field programs across multiple offices throughout a large region of the U.S., manage the team to make sure we win in November, and continue to build successful progressive campaigns beyond Election Day.

Each “region” consists of 6-7 field offices.  Each office is run independently by a Canvass Director, who will have bottom-line responsibility for setting up and maintaining the office, personnel, and performing the work for the client.  A typical office will employ, on average, between 15 and 50 canvassers over the course of a year, and will have annual goals for conversations with citizens, signatures gathered, voters registered, coalition size, and / or money raised, depending on the nature of the campaign.

Position Summary: The Regional Field Director will oversee the operation on the ground to implement the campaign plan from start to finish.  Projects may include voter contact for the 2018 elections, membership drives for the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, DNC or Southern Poverty Law Center, or coalition building for a critical issue or campaign. We are currently recruiting talented individuals to join our team and get to know our staff prior to the start of these projects. This means working with our Regional Canvassing Directors and local canvassing teams while you get situated within our organization and prepare to hit the ground running with your project in 2018!
