To improve access to and reduce cost of healthcare in California via 3 initiatives attempting to qualify as Propositions for the November General Election Ballot.
1. Implementing 75 hours worth of mandatory professional training for In-Home Support Services (IHSS/HomeCare Workers) and a subsequent increase in wages.
2. Limiting compensation of the executive's who run charitable hospitals (with tax exempt status/subsidized by CA taxpayers) to a maximum of $450,000 annually.
3. Restricting the mark-up of goods & services provided by hospitals to a maximum of 25% above of estimated cost. (Children's, public, and veteran's hospitals are exempt from this measure.)
