- Event posted by International Peace and Development Training Center
600 pounds (OECD), 400 pounds (non-OECD)
Strengthening Local and National Capacities for Peacebuilding, Prevention, and Effective Peace Processes is the most in-depth and comprehensive of its kind internationally on strengthening local and national capacities for peacebuilding, prevention and effective peace processes. While many agencies speaking about ‘building capacity’ and ‘supporting local and national partners’, this programme explores practically what is involved in supporting effective local and national capacities, examples and models of how this has been done, good practices, challenges, and how they can be addressed. It will be useful for NGOs, Governments, and national and international agencies, organisations and missions seeking to enhance real, sustainable capabilities both at community and national levels.
