MARKETING AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

The U.S. Travel Association seeks a Marketing and Digital Communications intern for summer 2018, based in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lay out fact sheets and other collateral materials.
  • Draft content and develop graphics for social media.
  • Update research graphics for monthly release to membership and media.
  • Design custom hero images and graphics for email marketing.
  • Design PowerPoint presentations for team speaking opportunities.
  • Provide editing and proofreading support of communication materials, research reports, and whitepapers.
  • Perform other marketing, communications and administrative activities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or undergraduate in marketing, public relations, communications or related field with prior internship experience.
  • Proficiency/expertise with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator required.
  • Excellent writing, editing and communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
