Metro’s Associate Management Analyst – Supportive Housing Services is a newly created position in Metro’s Planning and Development department that will provide critical support in policy development and program administration for the new regional Supportive Housing Services program. This position will be a part of the dynamic and growing housing team working to implement and oversee two voter-approved housing measures: the 2018 affordable housing bond measure and the 2020 supportive housing services measure. This is a unique opportunity for a housing and racial justice minded individual to work on one of the most pressing issues of our time: ending homelessness with supportive housing.

What you will do:

In this role, you’ll be part of a team that manages and oversees Metro’s Equitable Housing program, Housing Bond program, and new Supportive Housing Services program. You’ll manage program administration; policy and procedure formulation, committee administration, and support day-to-day program responsibilities. Additionally, this role will: Performance and Compliance Reporting: Develops and manages organizational systems, tools, and templates for reporting, monitoring and evaluating data and performance and compliance reports from partner jurisdictions

Supports development of quarterly and annual program reports summarizing program activities, successes and challenges Supports development and delivery of technical assistance resources to support partner jurisdictions

Establishes and maintains electronic and manual filing and record keeping systems, archives records through Records Management program, receive and coordinate responses to public record requests

Program Support:

Supports work plan development, planning and convening of the regional oversight committee that ensures transparent accountability of the program, and a tri-county advisory body that will improve upon systems coordination, capacity building, and regional coordination in program implementation Liaise between Metro administrative and technical staff, committees, contractors and consultants, and support meetings with senior leadership, and Council office. Prepares letters for signature, responds directly to phone calls and constituent communications, and sends email correspondence to Metro departments, other agencies and organizations, and the general public.

Provides technical and logistical support for the housing program team, including scheduling for team meetings, tracking budgets, and managing contracts

Stakeholder Support:

Assists in planning and convening housing related informational, community, and programmatic milestone events

Establishes and maintains effective, collaborative working relationships with peers, management, contractors, local government partners, and the public
